PSW202 Schematics? I have a PSW202 that died, no power. Opened it up and found the fuse blown. Ohmed out the power cord and found the problem, the transformer primary is reading 7ohms. The Polk, as most 10s do, has the opposite problem. It plays higher but fails to reach the lower registers. The PSW202 has much less power than the PSW404 (also 10") but that is just as well because they share the same driver and the driver will blow in the PSW404 if the volume is turned past 50% (seen 4 do this).

I'm for option 3, trash it. The Polk PSW202 is a sub w/a 10" driver and a. 50 watt amp. That isn't gonna cut it in a 12' x 15' room. The PSW202 MSRP. was $350, but I've seen them on sale at Circuit City for $170, and $100 on ebay. If you can afford to, try this 10" HSU STF-2 (good for room to 3000 cu ft) w/10"driver.
