These R40's by Polk Audio came through really nice. Great professional look, and outstanding mid and highs for movies and metal music. The speakers were designed soley for mid's and high's and that is what they deliver. Must own a subwoffer to make these work to their potential.

The Polk Audio R40 were simply the best in the lot for my needs. The sound is so clear you can here sounds you never heard before. I strongly suggest that you buy a subwoofer with those speakers for a richer sound cause the R40 are only mid/woofer speakers. Similar Products Used: JBL N34/ Bose Acoutismas.

I couldn't pass up the $69 shipped price. I think it will be a good start for their audio, and only $115. They will need to get some funds together to replace the sub and the receiver, but this is a huge step in the right direction. Im lookink to find a speaker n a twitter from Polk R40 tower speakers.
