The RT1000ps has very clear and clean mids and highs as well as good bass. With the funky power port, I was expecting the bass to be sloppy but it wasn't. These speakers sound great with music but sound even better on movies. Lethal Weapon 4 sounded fantastic, very clear voices and plenty of bass to go with all the explosions.
