I think the Polk's sub amps are not repairable for the RT2000P if they fail, rendering the speaker practically useless should they fail. The RT3000p is the speaker with the known amp issues... Rarely hear of the 2000p having issues... "No, that's silly talk. Dude, you can't possibly be this audio dumb so quit the act."

Rt2000p. I recently picked up a pair of rt2000p towers for $400. I'm not sure exactly how old they are, but they sound awesome and I love them and i think i got a good deal on them. All the components still work awesome as far as I can tell the only issue is they do not seem to sound as clear as what I think they should.

That being said, I still listen to a pair of Polk Audio RTA-12s I bought brand new in 1980. They were made in the USA, they sound great, and there's nothing on this website that says its only for audio equipment that costs a certain dollar amount or above. All the equipment I've bought was based on listening experience. The same for my music.
