I have heavy curtains, and central carpet. I already have a DENON X3000 (I could buy it same price USA). It is 95watts at 8ohms and 7.1 but I only care 5.1, so bi-amp is a nice opcion. 5.1 will be 60% music, and 40% movies. I do care about sound quality, so I would prefere RTi line, instead TSi. Will DENON X3000 make a good job with Polk RTi A7 ...

Yes, you're right Glowrdr about the fact only an active crossover will show most benefits from bi-amping. However, when your amp alone offers 135w for a pair of RTiA9, which requires probably 250-300w per channel to sound punchy and "full sounding", adding another amp may help tame both the "distorsion issue" caused by bridging, and help deliver more power.

I like Single Bi Wire cables as well. Single Bi Wire cables have one set of bananas on the amp / reciever end and 2 sets of bananas on the speaker end. You then remove the jumpers and plug all 4 in to the speaker. I use Audio Quest Type 8 single bi wires.
