The original SDA 1 had "nostril" ports by the tweeters. The SDA 1A eliminated the ports, and had some crossover and cabinet updates. The SDA 1 Signature is an original SDA 1 with the crossover updates, the cabinet mods, and the nostril ports blocked by Polk. A brass "signature" plate went over the baffle to cover the no-longer-used nostril ports.
