These were the dual 6.5" woofers with a passive radiator and a dome tweeter. The original model 10's had the black tweeter. The later versions had a silver tweeter that sounded better and was much more reliable. I replaced a ton of those old black tweeters. The 10's and 12's were my favorite Polk speakers from that era.

The Monitor 11 has a specific left and right speaker, the 10 does not. You would do well to replace those awful SL2000 tweeters with the RD0194-1 available from Polk. Upgrading the crossovers with high quality film/foil caps and Mills resistors will net you vast improvements as well. The mid-drivers are not as fragile as stated.
