I just purchased Polk Audio PSW10 and plugged it in with no speakers attached but no power. I troubleshooted it and noticed it was a blown fuse. I purchased the same rating 2A250V, fast and slow acting and both blew as soon as I plugged it in the outlet directly. Then I tried it with the woofer plugged into the receiver but it still blew the fuse.

Welcome to Polk's forum, I'm sorry you're having a problem. Check to see that the two wires coming from the bass amp to the woofer are firmly on the woofer's terminals. Sometimes one of them can become loose. If that isn't the case call Polk's CS department at 1-800-377-7655 and have your unit's serial number and date and place of purchase handy.

My PolkAudio PSW10 immediately blows its fuse upon plug-in to 120V even when the Power switch is 'Off' and there is no audio in present. There are 2 (Power supply?) 4700 ufd electrolytics on the right edge of the PC board. the one closest to the rectifier shows 4.0 Ohms both ways while the other one shows 6.8 Ohms both ways.
