What audio compression are you using in autogk? mp3? or do you leave it as ac3? But I would instead use VOB2MPG on the DVD and try import the mpeg in premiere and if that wont work convert the mpg to DV-AVI with Virtualdub-MPEG2 or VirtualdubMoD because you are losing lots of video quality when converting to avi xvid/divx using AutoGK.

Adobe Premiere CS3 imports video under XP 32-bit, but doesn't import the same video in the 64-bit one. The software is the same version in both OSs. And basically the same codecs are installed in both versions of them. IN 64-bit, I always get the famous message "Unsupported audio rate in the file".

With no update or changing any settings, now for some reason when I import to adobe I get an unsupported audio rate in file message. Ati settings show a 16 bit rate and somewhere I saw something about a 32 bit rate for adobe, I think in custom settings but not 16. this setting creates a mpeg 2 @ 720 x 480 video and 48,000khz (16 bit ) audio.
