Best answer. Using Windows 7 x86 or x64, install Universal Control 2.1 and update the firmware to 1.48 which is the latest version. The firmware updater in AudioBox 1.2 / 1.3 had issues that put the firmware update into various states that included resetting it back to version 1.0 if the update didn't take correctly.
