I have had the advise to delete volume files within application support/ digidesign/ volumes folder. I have search my entire HD and deleted all volume files found for digidesign. Furthermore I have re installed my M-AUDIO FIREWIRE 410 audio interace. This has not solved my problem and is weird as recording the night before caused no problems.
