When using an external clock source with Pro Tools, you may on occasions accidentally set the clock to a different sample rate to that of the session. I've done this myself on a couple of occasions and it causes speed issues for any audio you record.

Pro Tools offers this as a free upgrade to anyone who has LE 8 or higher. I was able to finally record and playback tracks without the audio clock problem. However, I was getting a distorted sound when I recorded and when I would play tracks back. Luckily this was an easy fix: I just lowered my H/W buffer size.

Hi there. When im trying to playback on protools LE 8 it comes up saying, problem detected with audio clock check sample rate etc. Has anybody got any idea what my problem is? Im running a digi 002 rack, windows 7 64bit. Any help would be much appreciated
