More detailed information is coming next week when the engineers get out of meetings. So far, I have only had about 5 hours of listening time, so I haven't begun to compare sound.

Previous AV kit has struggled to perform with this, producing a an excessively bright sound. The Proceed kit has no such problem with a sound which could be described as warm and inviting, almost valve like. I honestly believe that the AVP, available at c £1000 is one of the great AV bargains

I recently purchased a preamp/processor which was advertised as a proceed AVP to mate with the Mark Levinson 27. I like the result but am a bit confused because, for one reason, it came with two manuals, one for an AVP and the second for an AVP2. Also, when looking for the serial number on the bottom placard it states AVP2.
