Take for instance, Goemon's Great Adventure (U) [!], the game runs full speed 100% never slowing down once, and yet, the audio will skip every two or so seconds. This could be in part due to the way PJ64 handles the RSP emulation, having very poor audio timing altogether.

- it doesn't behave like a lag, it's more like frame skipping/hiccup for few seconds at a time. - it happens whatever the settings or plugins are, but only with project64. - Mupen64plus and retroarch (with both ParaLLEI and m64plus next) don't have any problem, everything is smooth on them. And of course real hardware doesn't have the issue either.

AmbientMalice commented on May 4, 2015. This will be fixed when dynamic Fixed Audio Timing is enabled for all appropriate games. (Which is a vast majority of them, IMO.) Azimer has fixed the broken FAT behavior of 2.x, but a few games crackle with Jabo now. Azimer seems to work much better.
