The video starts playing shortly after the second request starts. I've no idea why PMS does this. It may well be that it would start streaming immediately if it didn't. Or it may be that it spends ~40 seconds consuming the output of the first request, though I doubt it. Or it may be that I have the cache size set too high (I'll experiment).
