Your PS3 is correctly configured and outputting all discrete channels correctly. It is decoding the AC3 audio onboard prior to outputting it as multichannel LPCM. The new 93/95 models are much more flexible and can support a much wider range of audio formats both streamed and from attached USB/eSata hard drives, including high resolution multichannel.

Now that I've seen the multi channel audio implemented using some built in functions of the PS3 firmware, my question is is multi channel FLAC supported? and if it is does it support 24bit/48,88,96,192khz outputs?
