You could select just the main movie and the 5.1 audio track and 'start muxing' to get a new .m2ts file. That's fairly fast. Or demux the audio and use eac3to and see if it will convert your audio file. VLC or MPC-HC should also be able to play back .m2ts files directly. Other than that, I don't think the center channel would just disappear.

Tldr, no Center Channel audio in Final Fantasy 7 remake. Other games output discrete Center Channel audio. We are enjoying Final Fantasy 7 remake but unfortunately noticed that there is no discrete Center Channel audio as part of surround sound mix. I’ve tested the AVR connected to a PS3 with a bluray disk and the sound worked perfectly. Also worked from a dvd player connected thru HDMI to the AVR. The only problem is when i connect the WD TV Live player to the AVR on HDMI or optical. I have no sound from center channel. The receiver also says DolbyDigital 3/2.1 or DTS 3/2.1.

1. Unless the PS3 is set to send stereo audio only (no DD, no DTS or any HD formats), when I play a DVD or blu-ray , it plays without the centre track. I can hear no spoken dialogue.
