Our amp cant take HDMI, so I've used an optical cable to feed the audio to the amp. For some reason the amp cuts off the sound occasionally, especially when there's a sudden sharp or loud sound (like a gun firing). This happens with the normal DD 5.1, which the amp have always handled without any glitches. Audio output on the PS3 is bitsream.
