I tried playing the original, but the version I got is the PS3 version which means the cut scenes are all out of sync with each the audio and there was a bit of lag in the controls (though I’ve noticed that with a lot of PS3 games so I don’t know with that). I also felt like I didn’t quite “get” the gameplay.

EDIT: It works that way because the audio going to the receiver is now just PCM and not Atmos. :(EDIT: If I choose Stereo Uncompressed on the Xbox, it stays in sync. If I switch to any of the Bitstream out modes I can use it is out of sync. Such as DTS Digital Surround, Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos for home theater are all out of sync.

The audio? Play the first hour. Half of the dialogue is missing or out of sync. In that regard, it's similar to the PS2 version. Graphics are good enough for me to ignore it though. I don't have the Xbox version, and I don't care to play it with KBM, so this is the best I've got. The input lag isn't really that bad either.

With a central audio manager that can control the audio api and buffer rate on your computer, rpcs3 doesn't need to process audio internally which lessen the load of processing in rcps3.

The exact same files play just fine in VLC Player and also on all the other devices above - it's just the PS3 that doesn't like them.
