As soon as pulseaudio is triggered (i.e. via pactl, pavucontrl, or directly invoking it with pulseaudio --start), top reports that pulseaudio is using 100% of a core. All attempts to kill pulseaudio (pulseaudio -k, pkill, killall, kill -9) fail, so I have to reboot. pactl list. gives me:
