The Display Manager is starting it If you disable the Display manager (and also remove all the pulseaudio files from /etc/xdg and /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d) then pulseaudio won't run at all. If you leave all the pulseaudio files alone, but just disable the DM, then pulseaudio will run and you won't get any errors about it trying to run twice.

First I tried the command pulseaudio -nC but nothing happends. Then reading the documentation I enterd pulseaudio --start and pulseaudio -nC wich returned the following output: E: [pulseaudio] pid.c: Daemon already running. I am running KDM+KDE, with one user logging in from the PC itself and one user only ever logging in to a vnc server.
