Hi there! I installed CentOS 6.2. Everythnig was OK but I found the problem with the sound. When I play some song and push Skype, the music stopped and Skype sound is very bad - login sound, call sound - everything. I have always avoided using PulseAudio because of how problematic it is, but since Skype 4.3 has now dropped Alsa support, I am forced to use PulseAudio, but one problem; it just doesn't work. I can't remove it because Skype will not work without it (as far as I'm aware) and only show virtual devices in the Audio options.

But SKYPE (version 4.2.0.11) is uncapable to connect and work with PULSEAUDIO. Each time I want to use SKYPE, I have first to desactivate PULSEAUDIO in the MAGEIA Control Center. If I close my pulseaudio client, and restart skype, then skype can access alsa devices, and then everything works in skype. I would like to either make my mic work with skype using pulseaudio, or be able to use alsa devices in skype without closing my pulseaudio client. I will appreciate any help. Thank you
