Windows 7 - 32 bit with the latest drivers downloaded from hauppauge.com (pvr-150-500_2_0_48_25037_whql.zip). Windows 7 has all the updates from windows update. I remember it worked the first time, but after closing the encoder and a reboot, there was no way to get audio back. Thanks for looking at this!

Not many other programs will be able to get audio from the PVR-150. This is a common problem with hardware MPEG encoding cards. You might as well use WinTV2000. No other program will get any better results either. The video is converted to MPEG on the card. So all programs are doing is saving the data to a file.

and no luck. I've also tried the newest 150/500 beta drivers and the beta WinTV apps and I can't get those to run either. I keep getting a message about "HCWUTL32.dll was not found". Nothings changed with Vista MC either, still full functionality with no TV audio.

The Hauppauge website claims to have an update for the PVR-150 that solves the audio overmodulation anomaly some people have. Well, I tried it and it made the audio problem much much worse. And, to get rid of this upgrade, I had to uninstall the whole thing back to the wall ... and reinstall from my original Hauppauge CD.
