Audiosurf keeps crashing once the window pops up, it doesn't say Preparing to launch Audiosurf in the steam popup but goes straight to the game, but it suddenly crashes. I have no idea what's happening but I think it's because I had a spider virus and it's causing it. Tried several quick scans and a custom one now (Full takes like 12 hours to finish).

I got Audiosurf on Steam about a month ago, which I was able to run perfectly. Then, I had to re-install Windows, and since then I could not start up the game at all. Well, technically, it does start, but after a couple of seconds, it instantly crashes. I contacted the developer, but he couldn't give me much help. I tried (re)installing:

I have steam. My friend told me of this Audiosurf game. So i downloaded the demo. When i launch it it says "Latest version of Microsoft DirectX is required to play Audiosurf Demo" I have DirectX10 according to my dxdiag. I tried updating drivers and still no luck. So i tried just running the exe file. It starts, i get all excited.
