The RAAMmat was was suprisingly easy to cut and install. It conforms to curves easily. I also used their ensolite product (before they had the adhesive backed version. It was very light weight and easy to install with their adhesive. The combination made a bit difference in my car. Made the body feel solid and less road noise.

well, since the weather has been sucking around here and i haven't been able to work on my truck, i decided to finally do some testing on the ensolite i got from rick at raamaudio. i already had 1/2" thick 27 oz. jute carpet padding that i was using in my truck, but it was a pain to work with and is a bit thick to put under factory carpet. the ensolite is only 1/8" thick, so it'll fit …

ensolite is best used over any and all deadener! in fact i would put two-three layers if you have the room maybe its just me, but the ensolite helped my system 4 times more than the deadener did by itself... has anyone ever just used ensolite by itself? Dynamat vs raamat vs hushmat vs ensolite??? | IW STi Forum

I Raamatted and Ensolited my doors with just the stock speakers and the increase in sound quality was amazing. The low end got very low, and the clarity increased throughout the listening range. I would recommend using some combination with Ensolite, whether its Dynamat, Raamat, or one of the others.

On with the product review. Well, I just finished the install of a 62.5 sq/ft roll of Raamat along with 3 yards of Ensolite in my 03 WRX Wagon and the difference is night and day. Although installing raamat and ensolite can be time consuming and sometimes frustrating, the pay off is well worth it!
Raam Mat vs Dynamat Xtreme - my impressions - Tacoma World

- I like the additional Ensolite material - easy to install Cons: - Very sticky and hard to reposition - Has more of a smell than Dynamat - Not as thick as Dynamat Overall I'm happy with my install. Installing the sound deadening really helps reduce the ambient sounds in the cabin and really seems to kick the stereo's sound up a few notches.
