I have an ATI Radeon 3850 HDMI out video card in my computer and the card is supposed to be DHCP compliant. I can play the video portion of the signal no problem, but I get no audio output. Ok now lets clear something here. I own a HIS 3850 iceQ3 turbo card. It has no HDMI out connector, but it has a DVI to HDMI dungle. My display actually is a 32" HD TV that is HDMI connected with the mentionned dungle to a DVI port. The sound does work. There is an audio driver bundled with the driver CD.

A couple of things to try, 1. Pull the card and clean the contacts (a pencil eraser is good for this, just make sure the bits are cleaned off after) and clean out the slot itself, and then re-seat the card. 2. Make sure that the extra power connector is plugged into the card. then run the install again.
