In Sound the AMD High Definition Audio Device status is "Not plugged in". I'm guessing it's a driver issue and from reading similar problems it appears to be something to do with HDMI? My monitor isn't HD (It's an HP L1906) and my motherboard is a HP 0AA0H X38 with an Intel 2.2Ghz CPU. I don't have any sound card installed.
