Rage 2 is on sale on PlayStation store right now, and I thought I should give it a try. I didn’t give it a chance before, because of the poor reviews, but I needed a new FPS in my life. I’ve tried the Doom demo, and it was an awesome game, but for some reason things in the room started making noises both times I played it.

Audio likes to cut out. This is incredibily annoying, the intro's audio cuts in and out every 5 seconds making it both not enjoyable not watchable. I use Voice Meter Banana and it is the same thing. Playing around with the Hrz 44k or 48k on ALL devices seems to solve the issue to me, just need to play around with it - change it to 44k and the program and then change them all back to 48k.... under audio settings > recording tab > and all the devices there need to match...
