With the Dynaudio amp you push the vol up button on the steering wheel or twist the vol button clockwise on the head unit and a signal is sent through the CAN bus to the Dynaudio amp to increase gain. The PAC unit faithfully reproduces this. The problem lies in the difference in volume scales between the Dynaudio amp and the aftermarket head unit.

The volume level was pretty much back to the way it was with the RNS-510, 50% volume on the RCD330 187E felt like it was with my RNS-510. The sound quality was good. Maybe a tiny tiny bit less bass, but overall it sounded great, as it did with the RNS-510. No volume issues with Siri. No bluetooth issues.
