From what I can tell this will occur on all of the following AC'97 Realtek chips: ALC101. ALC201. ALC201A. ALC202. ALC202A. ALC203. ALC250. ALC650. ALC653. ALC655. ALC658. ALC850. All of those chips still utilize the older AC'97 drivers and don't have support via the newer Realtek HD Audio drivers.
