Add me to the list of people with this problem. I just upgraded to windows 7 and now 5.1 audio using SPDIF won't work. I don't even have the option to set the number of speakers I'm using. The drivers I've tried are as follows: the ones provided by the Windows 10 installer, the most current as on the Realtek website (signed 6/22), and the beta drivers from the Realtek FTP (signed 7/8).
