Hello! Recently I have decided to make a sleeper PC for the fun of it, but I've encountered an issue. The front panel audio does not work, and my assumption is it is to do with it being AC97 and not HD audio. Is there anyways to easily convert AC97 to HD Audio? Perhaps by swapping pins? I uninstalled the driver and installed Realtek HD Audio Driver 5.10.0.5605. I got the front headphone jack to work again. I found out if I enable play multi-streaming it disables the front audio jack. Mute rear panel output when front headphone plugged in doesn't work tho.
