I rarely use the audio ports on my Toshiba Satellite A660. I plugged in a jack in order to pipe sound to a boom box. I get a popup window entitled RealTek HD Audio Manager, with the question "Which device did you pluge in?" The two options are "Headphone" and "Line out". Well, it's not a headphone, and I have no idea what "Line out" is.
