Thanks for the suggestions. Nothing was working. So, I uninstalled SHS, reinstalled it and now I get the message "The following drivers either do not support the current audio format or are in use by another application." And it lists all the Realtek HD stuff (output, CD input, mic input, and Stereo input). The choices are Disable and Use Anyway.
