my only conclusion is that windows 7 has some sort of bug with some realtek hd audio. almost tempted to unplug the realtek hd audio and use the standard audio and see if that works in 7. everywhere i go i see people with realtek hd audio problems in win 7 and a million different fixes for it.. i have tried at least 20 fixes before trying here.
