From the Windows audio control panel: 1)M-Audio switch off 2)Windows audio system select as default 3)M-Audio switch on 4)M-Audio select as default I must to repeat this procedure every time I want to use reaper. So, whenever I open Reaper, in the top right it says "Audio Device Closed" and whenever I press play, it opens again. When I pause, it closes again. Any way to keep it open, even if it's paused? I can't preview samples in the Media Explorer unless i have the timeline playing, and I can't work like this. Any help is great!

All works fine except that Reaper and the LR-16 will lose their connection after some apparently variable time (typically about 1/2-1 hour). When the connection is lost I get an [audio device closed] warning in Reaper. Both Reaper and the LR-16 have to be shut down and restarted to reestablish the connection.

Did you select an input and an output range (meaning you have to select the first and the last in/outputs to be used by Reaper in the dropdowns below the driver model selection menu in 'Preferences->Audio->Device' ?
