using a focusrite sapphire pro you SHOULD be able to reduce your buffers in the focusrite audio settings to 64 or 128 buffers which should give you around 15msec round trip latency, which is not sufficient to cause you problems between when you touch a note on the motif and when you hear it. reduce your hardware buffers in the focusrite software.

I connect my module directly to my laptop (an old Macbook) and use Addictive Drums 2 app. It works quite well and the latency doesn't bother me too much, but I'm wondering: if I buy an audio interface and connect the midi out from my module to the midi in of the audio interface and use the audio interface as input in Addictive Drums 2, will I see a decrease in the latency or not?
