I used to use elastic audio to align to the grid. Doing that for years. Then, last year I was in a commercial studio working with a seasoned pro and he taught me beat detective. yeah it's a tiny bit more effort, and the learning curve for beat detective is a bit steeper than elastic, but the results, i think, are much much better.
