i'm using Ubuntu 15.04. I'm can't make Rosegarden work to produce a sound. The music corsor runs over the score, but ... no sound! In QSYNTH i SET mIDI TO ALSA_SEQ, Audio to pulseaudio and soundfonts to FluidR3_GM.sf2. In rosegarden manage MIDI Devices I choooze Synth1 Input Port and yes I started qsynth before Rosegarden.

i have rosegarden, and everything works fine, except that there is no sound when I try to play something back. i checked the configuration, and it says that MIDI works fine with the sequencer, but not audio. sound works for everything else on my computer. i have an integrated sound card. any help is greatly appreciated.

You may be able to solve this problem by loading the RTC timer kernel module. To do this, try running sudo modprobe snd-rtctimer in a terminal window and then restarting Rosegarden. Alternatively, check whether your Linux distributor provides a multimedia-optimized kernel. See Rosegarden website for notes about this. I couldn't make it.
