Audiovox no longer makes the CCS-100 but Murphs' CCS100 Cruise Control has a pretty much identical product. CCS-100 vacuum controlled positives: Fits under the side cover below the seat. The Rostra is bigger. Uses practically no electrical power while the Rostra has a 10A fuse for the motor. That being said, the motor doesn't really run for long.

The rostra unit is not compatible with the VSS signal, and you can' use the tach to control your speed. I had a magnet kit from a old Audiovox unit that I used instead of the VSS signal. I placed 7 magnets around the rim of the rotor to generate seven pulses per revolution. The unit works excellently at highway speeds.

Worked like it should. Doesn't have a connector, but I was able to use the one in the rostra kit since I cut it out to shorten the harness for use on a scooter. Pop off the front cover, carefully apply clear silicone sealer, snap together, and your waterproof. Design has been around a while, looks identical to an Audiovox I installed in 1991.
