Posted August 10, 2007. Sounds like the Dell version doesn't support AC3, but you should still be able to burn a DVD. Open your project and go to File/Project Settings. Make sure the audio is set for LPCM. Uses more space, but any DVD player can play it.

You have been ripped off, if you paid a penny. You bought a free OEM version of the software, which does not support AC3 audio. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the only remedy is to get a retail version of the Roxio software. The only version in production now, is Roxio Creator 2009.

Have used Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 to back-up many DVDs ripped with DVD Decrypter or DVDShrink without a problem. Virtually all have AC3 format (a few were done with DTS).
