Messages: 28,695. The general consensus is that no, they're not that desirable. Some people really like certain Sansui speakers, like the Sp-2000s, but not for that price. The pair I had, which weren't quite as well built as these (sp-x9900), were pretty terrible. Very little bass considering the woofer was about 17".
