I might just get the Sebatron dual micpre and then get the single 610 eventually for the flavor. Apparently from all the rave reviews ive read about Sebatron, they are a bang for their buck and you can get a lot of variety of sonic character from it. Of course, the Universal Audio is always a handsdown choice if you like tube technology.

I'm certainly not thankful the 610 goes, I'm thankful Sebatron still exists and gives you 4 tube channels at around $400/chan. When I said it's better, I don't think it sounds better -they sound different..as good maybe- but the Sebatron has more tonal versatility than the 610, in that sense it gets more use (I have both)
