It would help if you mentioned which model of Blu-ray player and what receiver you're using. In most cases, you should turn Secondary Audio off until you specifically need it. Blu-ray players will not "bitstream" the lossless audio codecs to a receiver if Secondary Audio is turned on. They will drop back to the lossy Dolby Digital or DTS stream.
