Integrated Sigmatel High Definition audio. My problem is the audio driver. On Windows 7 Pro 32bit, every thing worked perfectly, including audio. Now, on Ultimate 64bit, NO audio drivers work. I found ONE audio driver, from ITD, that kinda works. The audio is extremely quiet!

Sigmatel audio problem - Vista 32-bit. My Inspiron 1501 is unable to reproduce the sound, even when the volume indicator indicates that the soundcard works, and when I connect to the lap top from my desktop via TeamViewer I can hear the music played on the lap top. I have downloaded all drivers from Dell support site, and installed them, and there were no problems.

Sonar's default is WDM mode, and the Sigmatel and other laptop soundcards report themselves as being WDM capable, but there apparently is a problem with that.

Hello, I just updated to windows 10 and I am having a similar issue. When i go to device manager is shows I have SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec for 64bit windows but when I go to to sound devices under control panel it shows nothing. I have tried downloading new drivers and nothing I have found so far is compatible.
