I have just unpacked my Inspiron 9400 and testing all the functions. I use an AverMedia USB TV device to watch TV, direct connect the audio from the blackbox (receiver) to the line on my Inspiron 8100, never any problem. With this 9400 I get no sound and the sigmatel audio interface is the saddest excuse for an interface I have ever seen.
