It's considerably faster and has more memory than my old XP computer, which played audio fine. On this new one, the audio skips and pops every 20 seconds or so, and I can't figure out why. Things I've tried that haven't fixed the problem: - Different audio programs (Windows Media Player, iTunes) - Different sound cards (internal, external USB)

It fixes audio pops & stuttering on the B130. If you already have A10 then turn off your wireless and see if that reduces the noise. If turning that off does not help then check all of your power settings and make sure they are all set for maximum performance, and run off of house current instead of the battery.

Audio 'skipping' problem with Windows XP guest under Linux. by bdz » 16. Sep 2008, 03:25. When I use audio (e.g. Windows Media Player playing jazz24.org or Rhapsody), I get 'skipping'. This usually means either something is too slow or a buffer is too small. I don't think the speed of the underlying system is the problem.
