Had it a couple months and the sound would start going in and out. Also, sometimes there would be no picture, but sound (an HDMI sync problem actually..).

I have only have the Sony Bravia 4K for 4 years and today, the tech from all-star repair hits me with the same $1000 repair then says "the LED backlight is out and will prob need all three boards replaced as well." To be specific, my problem started intermittently powering off but a simple plug unplug would fix the problem.

On the PS4 goto Settings > Sound and Screen > Audio Output Settings; Change the Primary Output Port to "Digital Out (Optical)" It will then display Audio Options - Uncheck Dolby Digital 5.1ch, DTS 5.1ch, AAC and ensure that Linear PCM is checked - then click [OK] Change the Audio Format (Priority) to - Bitstream (Dolby) Done
