Different wood, omit some things add others, with SOTA think have it your way, they will make you happy. I think they gave up on the sub $1200 class of tables, or trying to compete in the $500-$1000 range. I don't blame them SOTA is far better than that and have enough buyers that want very good tables in the $3000- $6000 class.

The first thing I realized was that I just moved the TT with an unsecured platter; yikes! Also I was missing the power supply, tonearm connector cable and headshell. Plus, who knows how long the platter was unsecured as it was moved around. So, I took the TT apart to get a look at the sapphire bearing disc.
