The X-fi Notebook is more for streaming music wirelessly with the Creative Wireless Receiver. The only problem is the audio dock for 5.1 input is scarce and hard to find, but it still supports optical output without the dock which is great. Pros: -Great sound quality over integrated sound cards. -Creative sound processing (software based) is great.

It works flawlessly with this card (so far). Sound quality is decent - not spectacular but very decent. It should also increase the volume on your laptop from the onboard. Another really cool thing is that you don't need any of the automatic startup stuff for it to work perfectly.
